Ballongflygaren in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden, will sure impress with its diverse brick alignments. While the extruded bricks add depth to the facade, the various patterns create a unique and distinctive character.
To ensure that the architectural aspirations are met, we recently hosted the project’s developer Skandia Fastigheter with their design partners Act Management and our client AF Bygg Stockholm at UPB’s #precast production facility in Liepaja, Latvia. They were able to closely examine the 4.7 m high mock-up and see the different patterns, corners, seams, and transitions.
