The new Riga Stradiņš University Pharmacy Study and Research Center, built by UPB, is not only a technically complex building but also stands out with an aesthetic and high-quality design.
The central element of the building's lobby is the spiral staircase in an eye-catching shade of red, designed to evoke human DNA. The staircase is further accented by curved ceiling lamellas, which also serve as a unique lighting object.
Furthermore, the building's facade features a variety of contrasting elements - the bright and colorful terracotta cladding adds a vibrant energy, while the light and dark fibre cement panels provide a clean and aesthetic look.
